Who we are!
Gender Task Force is a South East European regional initiative born out of an Appeal to the participants of the Stability Pact for SEE in Sarajevo in 1999. Since 2001. GTF is based in Zagreb, Croatia. As of 2014 the organization's full name is Gender Task Force - Initiative for Sustainable Growth.
The GTF Mission Statement: The Gender Task Force is committed to advancing sustainable, gender - balanced development in South East Europe, in the context of European Integration.
Priorities / Goals
Priority areas of action: Institutionalizing gender equality, Women’s socioeconomic and political participation, Parliamentary Cooperation, Social Dalogue and Trade Unions, Women Entrepreneurship and Employment, Women in rural development.
